Azoty Tarnów offers the following engineering plastics:Tarnamid® (PA6) - polyamide 6 produced by a process of condensation polymerisation of caprolactam, according to the following formula:
Tarnamid® offer include basic polymer grades, differing in relative viscosity RV, as well as broad range of compounded grades, like: glass fibres and glass beads reinforced, mineral filled, flame retarded, UV light stabilized, with improved sliding properties, impact modified, antistatic, colored and translucent grade.
Tarnoform® (POM) - acetal copolymer obtained as a result of the co-polymerisation of trioxane with comonomer of cyclic oxides (ethylene oxide, dioksolan, dioksepam, tetrahydrofurane), according to the following general diagram (not taking into account the comonomer):
